about

‘Artifacts’ was recorded & produced entirely by the band between January & February 2020, capturing the performances at Tower Studios and mixing them into their final form at Fadeout Towers.
In no particular rush to commit this collection of as-yet unrecorded songs to CD, we played these tracks frequently throughout our hectic live schedule between 2018 & 2019. But with a slew of new and important gigs coming up this year, we felt the time was right to tie up the loose ends and finally get round to immortalising them, the only stipulation being that we produced it all ourselves and had no real deadline in order to ensure that the final product came up to our own stringent standards.

Included on the EP is an interpretation of Duffy’s ‘Rain On Your Parade’, something of a rarity in as much as we have only ever performed our own songs live since at least 2017, never mind record & release a cover version at all. But this is only one instance in which ‘Artifacts’ demonstrates to the listener how our sound has evolved musically since the release of ‘Tales From The Aftermath’ in September 2018.
